IJFRMS follows a well-defined review process to review the manuscripts submitted.

Step 1: Submission of Manuscript

The author submits the completed manuscript using the journal’s submission process.

Step 2: Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial team checks whether the manuscript:

• Fits the journal's scope.
• Meets basic submission requirements.
• Is appropriately prepared.
• It appears original.
• Meets applicable ethical requirements.

Step 3: Selection of the Reviewers

The appropriate reviewers are chosen based on their knowledge of either mathematics, statistics or the research field.

Step 4: Double-blind peer review

The manuscript goes through the process of peer reviewing where the anonymity of both the reviewers and the authors is maintained.

Step 5: Reviewers' evaluation

The reviewers assess the originality of the manuscript, its methodology, mathematical/statistical soundness, findings, discussion, and academic contributions.

Step 6: Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer feedback, the editor may:

• Accept the manuscript.
• Request minor revisions.
• Request major revisions.
• Reject the manuscript.

Step 7: Revision

In case of any revisions required, authors must make sure to attend to the reviewers’ comments and submit a revised manuscript.

The writer will have to submit a response stating that he/she has taken into account all the problems brought up by the reviewer.

Step 8: Final Review

The editor reviews the revised article along with the suggestions of the reviewer.

Step 9: Publication

Manuscripts accepted for publication go through the editorial and production process before getting published online.

This process is designed to make sure that research which gets published adheres to proper academic standards while ensuring fairness to the author(s).
